I have been training with my own dogs in Obedience since I first adopted my Labrador Retriever Zohé. It has been an amazing journey! I’ve learned so much from my dogs, and consider myself very lucky to have been able to help others in training and learning new ways to communicate with their dogs. I love learning and reading, so through the years I’ve read countless books and articles about training and behavior. I love sharing my knowledge with new owners and helping them learn to properly communicate with their dogs. I feel training should be fun for both dog and handler, and of course humane. I feel you can teach a dog to do wonderful things with the proper reinforcement techniques and there is no need to force them to do anything they themselves do not want, or are not ready to do.
My dogs are all rescues, but through happy and loving training, they have all achieved many wonderful things. With positive reinforcement methods my dogs have achieved and learned many things and have overcome many of their fears and traumas. All of them have practiced basic obedience, all have achieved their CGC certification and some have even achieved advanced obedience and agility titles. We have given many different demonstrations, visited schools, camps and hospitals, represented the island in national events and have made many appearances in local and national television.
We work together with Lucky Pet located in Guaynabo, offering products as well as a variety of services for dogs and their owners. In our training area in Hato Rey, we offer group training sessions as well as private lessons. Visit our Location section for directions and maps.
