It is with great sorrow that I write to announce the loss of one of our most memorable companions - the Cocker Spaniel Clark. Puerto Rico Dogs joins the sadness of our colleague Ivan Santiago. Ivan: thanks for allowing us to have known and to have shared so many happy memories with this special being.
Clark was not a regular cocker spaniel. He came to this world with a mission - so that we all saw how good this breed can be, coming from a home full of love and proper training. Surely if he was not the most beautiful Cocker Spaniel in the World, he was the most photogenic!
On facebook there are hundreds of pictures of him! Clark was a therapy dog, not just as a working dog, but in his daily life. Bore affection and love to all without discrimination or limits. He never learned the meaning of the word "enemy" and always had a happy wagging tail for all. He won over every dog and person he met. In the rooms with patients, he loved to jump on the beds - the problem was getting him to get off the bed! - and he was always the first to reach the doors of the rooms and push on the doors as if to say "here is my friend." Clark brought smiles and joy to all who knew him, and was the favorite of many in the group and in the facilities we visited. For more photos of Clark CLICK HERE.
I know that for Ivan, this is a terrible loss, but I hope he knows that everyone in the group share his grief and that Clark will always be remembered with great love and missed by all.
