Therapy - Objective

The goal of Puerto Rico Dogs therapy dog services is to create a charitable group of individuals who have the energy and give of their free time to share their special animals with people who need a moment of joy in their lives through various activities and presentations. These activities include, but are not limited to, visits to hospitals, special needs institutions and hospice centers.



Puerto Rico Dogs offers certification through Therapy Dogs Inc., an organization whose goal is to provide registration, support and insurance to those members who are involved in assistance activities with animals.



We currently have a group of people working with the Puerto Rico Children's Hospital in Bayamón, and the Auxilio Mutuo Hospital in Hato Rey. Soon we will be working with various other organizations and other groups to provide Therapy Dog services to others who may need it.
